1. Set up Twitter accounts for 10 people in your home village. I would suggest the following people... HEALTH WORKER, TEACHER, KEY VILLAGE LEADER, AND OTHERS THAT CAN ARTICULATE AN OPINION.
2. Follow other Twitter users who matter eg: @masalaifrog, @RApacific etc... and you follow them.
3. Go to settings and activate their DIGICEL mobile phones so that they get get tweets via SMS. This method eliminates the need for direct internet access for them.
4. Get them to SMS tweet to 40404 when there's a shortage of medicine, when schools don't have teachers, when a road is damaged and when a mother dies in childbirth. That way we hold those in authority accountable.
5. Create Facebook accounts for them and and connect twitter to FB and FB to twitter.
6. If you have extra cash to spare of if they have K180, buy a Vodafone 555 blue and encourage them to FB-Tweet.
